Conditions of Sale

1. All sales are final.

2. Condition reports should be taken as an opinion. Lack of condition does not mean it is in perfect condition.

3. For all other bidding formats (telephone and absentee bids), valid credit card information is required at the time of registration. 1stbid will treat this credit card as the method of payment for all outstanding invoices. At the conclusion of the auction, we will charge this credit card for any winning bids. If the credit card purchase is declined, 1stbid reserves the right to begin collection proceedings, up to and including legal action. The purchaser will be liable for all costs associated with those proceedings. By registering, in person or online, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Please note that all art items belong to different consignors, and 1stbid does not make any other representation or provide any information regarding art items other than what we have been given by the consignors. You may do your own due diligence and are welcome to personally inspect or send someone on your behalf to do so. We will do our utmost to help you with any information regarding any art to be identified if need be. Please also note that for some art items, we cannot certify or guarantee their authenticity, and buyers are encouraged to do their own research and due diligence before placing any bids. 1stbid is not responsible for any disputes or issues regarding authenticity after the auction has concluded.

Shipping Terms

All items will be shipped within 7-10 business days of receiving payment. However, some items may be eligible for expedited shipping and may be shipped within 2-5 business days. Please note that the shipping timeframe may vary depending on the availability of the item(s) and the shipping destination. Shipping fees and any additional costs such as customs fees or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. We will do our utmost to ensure that items are packaged safely and securely for shipping.
